Our latest trip around Italy brought us to Molise, specifically to the small town of Castelpizzuto, where we accompanied Francisco Canvas as he discovered his family origins.
Francisco was the winner of the #Conociendotusrsices competition, organised by ENIT’s Buenos Aires office and the Subsecretariat for Human Rights and Cultural Pluralism of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
We experienced many incredible emotions with our friend who fulfilled his dream of discovering the places where his great-grandfather lived and had the chance to meet part of his Di Santo family.
We received a warm welcome from all the residents of the small village and for this we thank the Mayor and all the inhabitants who went out of their way to organise the best Molisan lunch.
We would particularly like to thank Enit Buenos Aires Headquarters for involving us in this initiative, and the Under-Secretariat for Human Rights and Cultural Pluralism of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires.
