While awaiting the big day Emiliano receives his much-anticipated Italian Citizenship, our Argentine friends have been discovering unique places, sharing moments that have allowed them to get to know local realities and truly connect with their roots, and from Raiz Italiana we will show you a little of this experience.
Orecchiette with Mum!!! While visiting Noha, province of Lecce, learning the technique of traditional Pugliese pasta, an activity which is part of our cultural exchanges. Emiliano, as a Chef, has a passion for gastronomy and during his time in Italy he was able to bring back new recipes to incorporate into his restaurant.
At a meeting with the Diritti a Sud Association, during a Latin American dinner, where stories from their respective countries of origin and their relationship with Italy were shared. Our idea at Raiz Italiana is to introduce everyone who comes to process their Citizenship to incorporate them into all aspects of “being Italian” with this type of proposal and civic and language training courses in what we call “Active Citizenship”.”
Puglia in summer is a paradise for lovers of the sea and outdoor activities.
Emi and Meli chose to visit the Salento coast by bicycle, travelling along the Litorenea from the East coast, with the Adriatic Sea to the Ionian Sea on the West coast of Puglia.
We say goodbye with these marvellous images that Emiliano and Melina shared with us, eagerly awaiting the moment a new Italian will be “officially” added to the big Raiz Italiana family 🙂
